The HK4 hardwire kit offers 24-hour parking surveillance by providing continuous power to your dash cam even when the engine is off. This ensures that any collisions or events are recorded. It also features low voltage protection, allowing you to set a voltage cut-off value with four options. When the vehicle’s battery drops to this value, the kit stops powering the dash cam to prevent battery discharge.
Additionally, the HK4 hardwire kit automatically switches the dash cam to parking mode when the engine is off and back to normal recording when the engine is on, thanks to ACC detection. It is compatible with vehicles running on 12-24V, making it suitable for cars, trucks, buses, SUVs, and big rigs. The kit includes a 13.1ft (4m) cable, with specific connections for constant power, ignition, and ground.
This hardwire kit is designed for VIOFO dash cams such as the T130, A229Duo, A119 MINI2, WM1, and A139Pro. However, it is not compatible with other VIOFO dash cam series. Note that you will need to prepare two fuse taps to work with the hardwire cable.
